HCC Coding - Neurology Module

The HCC Coding and Documentation computer-based education modules instruct on the appropriate capture and required supporting documentation for Risk Adjustable ICD10 diagnosis codes. Each module is specific to a particular clinical area and provides an overview of the common medical conditions and their coding criteria.

1. Apply CMS-HCC V28 model coding education to current daily practice in high opportunity condition categories by incorporating more specific codes to better reflect the care being provided, as applicable.
2. Increase ability to support HCC codes with accurate and sufficient documentation.
3. Provide coding and documentation instruction to providers to help patients receive optimal resources and achievement of system goals.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (0.25 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (0.25 hours)

Sentara is accredited by the Southern States CME Collaborative to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Physicians: Sentara designates this Enduring Material for a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 0.25 hours of education .  Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of attendance for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organization accredited by the Southern States CME Collaborative, an ACCME Recognized Accreditor.
