2025 CME Advanced Imaging Update for the Primary Care Provider

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (4.00 hours), ABIM MOC Part 2 (4.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (4.00 hours)

This program will educate and update providers on ordering the appropriate imaging exams, with updates on various modalities available for diagnostic use and review appropriate and cost-effective imaging options for many common outpatient conditions.

1. Review appropriate imaging options for patient complaints.
2. Review appropriate cost-effective options when ordering imaging exams.
3. Identify diagnostic imaging orders for enhanced quality of care and the effective use of radiology.
4. Analyze best practices to utilize only necessary imaging tests.

This conference will be held at Sentara Park- Virginia Beach Conference Room located at 1330 Sentara Park, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.

In person registration and Panera breakfast will begin at 7:15am.

Lactation rooms are available on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor. 

Sentara is accredited by the Southern States CME Collaborative to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

1. Physicians: Sentara designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

2. All Other Learners: All other learners will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 4.00 hours of education .  Consult your professional licensing board regarding the applicability and acceptance of certificates of attendance for educational activities certified for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ from organization accredited by the Southern States CME Collaborative, an ACCME Recognized Accreditor.

3. ABIM MOC: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 4.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant information to the ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
