2026 Regional Shock Symposium

Emphasizing a multidisciplinary, team-based approach, this one-day conference will provide clinicians a platform for continuing education and networking opportunities. While updating their understanding of best practice initiatives in heart failure, shock, and acute respiratory failure, professionals from various specialties will build a community dedicated to reducing shock’s high mortality rate.

1. Recognize the importance of early recognition in shock survival.
2. Identify initial rescue and stabilization strategies of the shock patient.
3. Implement foundational skills for point-of-care ultrasound and percutaneous left ventricular assist device placement.
4. Recall temporary mechanical circulatory support device options.
5. Recognize therapies for ongoing management and recovery to improve patient outcomes.
