This activity provides a forum for the dissemination of surgical and oncologic best practice and advancements in caring for cancer patients. As a result, physicians are able to apply best practice and advancements in their practice to improve patient outcomes. Additionally, the conference enables the coordination of care across the continuum and ensures appropriate follow-up of patients throughout their treatment plan.

1. Apply optimal treatment plans for patients with cancer managed at Sentara Healthcare integrating surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy as needed.
